Hi, I get the many positive letters from you, who are watching body rock episodes and especially about the yesterday’s progress video and I would like to react to one of those letters.
Hi, first of all, thank you so much for this amazing videos you make, I adore them. Thank you.
There is a first question, what I would like to know is well your work out routine. What do you do in the gym?
So first of all, I have not been to gym for about three months since we started body rock, because right now in Czech Republic, I live in a cottage and the small village and we do not have a gym here. I really do not want to spend two hours by just going back and forth the block to workout at the gym. I spend winter, the last winter in Canada, that was incredibly cold and I enjoyed the gym enough.
So I just wanted to get outside in the summer and the only groups that I am using are my dumbbells. I have five kilo dumbbells, two kilos dumbbells. I have weights for my legs, a half kilo each. I have skipping rope, and I have power tube and the yoga mat and that is all the equipment that I am using. I am not going to the gym. I am going to go back to the gym in a venture, because I am going to be back to Canada. So I go definitely go back to the gym but later in the winter, when it is not such a nice weather outside and then he writes, I can only imagine you do more challenging stuff than the video seems to show. Also, how many times a week do you go?
Now, I am doing anything more challenging that I am actually showing on the episodes. The most challenging workout I do, is the rock your body series. If you would follow the series, step by step, as I am showing. You would find that is really challenging believe me, it is really hard to workout, so I am doing that three to four times a week. Plus I am adding all these little exercises that you think that are not challenging, but they are actually are. You just have to do it many times; you will just do so many repetitions that your muscles are tired to do more of them.
That is the key that you have to really exhaust your muscles. You have to feel the burning in your muscles and that is when you are toning your body. That is the important thing to know. Another thing here, so perfectly I am working out everyday, not that I am doing this everyday, but definitely, I do atleast some stretches or yoga. I do atleast a little thing everyday because it is important to stay in some kind of pace. You have to do everyday atleast something little for yourself—for your fitness.
Do you take any supplements, or fat burners?
No, because I am cheap and I would not spend my money for that stuff and also, because I think if you do not believe that you can reach your goals and get fit without these supplements, what is the point of working out? You have to believe that you can do it without any chemicals, right?
So the; last question is what is your diet look like? Do you eat meat, do you eat clean?
I do not know what it means to eat clean. I think I wash my hands and, okay.
So I have been trying before I started, body rock. I have been trying a lot of different diets, but diets, they do not work for me, because I have constant craving for food and I am really enjoying food, and I like sweet, I like chocolates, I like meat, I like deep fried things, which is bad. But I still eat it. I eat everything.
I started to cut my portions in half and I realized soon that I really do not need to eat that much as I used to, because if you cut your portion in half, and you spend 20 minutes with every meal, then you are going to feel full. After these 20 minutes, you are really going to feel full by just eating the half of your meal, because it takes about 20 minutes before your stomach sends the message to your brain and tells it that it is full and that is enough or something like that. It works something like that, but it really works for me. So I am still eating what I like to eat. I am Czech, and Czech cuisine is famous for being fat, so I still eat my fat meals. I still eat chocolate, but not just much. I can eat everyday,
